Chris Burrows from Croyde Youth Club invited us over to do a few bits and pieces at their Musical Youth gig. We filmed the bands and are just about to have most of the videos up.
Update, 29th May: Finished up at Appledore Festival today where we filmed interviews with the public about the area. We hope to put that video up soon on the video sharing site watchronda.tv .The interviews are part of the Potwallopers and Ponies heritage project (wearenortham.com)
The regular youth clubs will be open next week as usual, with some interesting projects in the works. Hatherleigh Youth Club is now standing on it's own and being run by some great local people - it really depends on local support now. If you can help them then get in touch.

Taster days

Wednesday, 08 April 2009
For the first week of the Easter break we offered taster days in 5 different places - Swimbridge, Combe Martin, Croyde, Lynton and Slade. We took a range of activities for them to try with the aim for them to tell us what we should do at their venue in future.
Last night, 3rd March, we had Big Top Mania back at Hatherleigh Youth Club, we had a selection of crazy bikes and circus kit. It was good fun Check out a video yer:
Also, we have a video up of Hatherleigh Youth Club's first Drum N Bass night. We hope to put another one on soon to build it up. The video is a bit of a mess, the audio on the clips was badly distorted - we had some crazy volume going on!

Sunday, 25 January 2009
Northam Youth Club is open again, and we're down at Westward Ho! There has been quite a lot of interesting developments with the Northam Youth Club/Seize film project Potwalloping & Ponies (Gazette article here)
We have some important trips lined up for it. We have over 2000 photos from our trips up at rondapix.com and eventually the young people will maintain a main website to showcase all the information they'll collect.
If you have anything you think they might be interested in let us know, the young people are keen and have another 8 months work to do!
Happy New Year and that.

Happy New Year!
Last year we did a lot... too much some times... but this year is looking to be bigger than any before. We have some big projects about to start (watch this space!), we are just a few months in to our year long film project Potwalloping & Ponies (check out the test site for it here) and we're still running Northam & Westward Ho! youth clubs. watchronda.tv is getting some good interest too...
Oh yah, and Hatherleigh Youth Club is back on again soon - we're going independent... renegade... commando (eh?!)

Tuesday, 09 December 2008
Over the last 2 Wednesdays we have worked with a group of young people from Ilfracombe. The group are involved in active citizenship and so we used that as the name.
In the first session we did all our planning and worked on a painting together:
In the second session the young people got on with their own pictures, and producing letters to spell ACS (Active Citizenship)
